Usufruct: A brief introduction

A usufruct is sometimes used to grant someone the right to use a property and enjoy the benefits of such use (including possibly receiving rental income from the property) even though that person does not become the owner of the property.

However, be cautious of possible Transfer Duty and Estate Duty implications.
